The “Wise One” is an exact copy of a very good Super Tone Master Vintage mouthpiece, the so-called “double ring”. This mouthpiece can be recognized by the two rings engraved on the shaft. Although the original is made of metal, the original and the replica made of ebonite have an identical interior design, making the sound output almost indistinguishable.
The tone is warm and full, and despite the easy response in the low register, the sound remains focused and beautiful even in the high register.
In the context of jazz, big band and combo, this is the ideal mouthpiece with a multi-faceted sound and many possibilities.
